Common questions
What counts as a screen?
One API call to /v1/screen counts as one screen, regardless of how many matches are returned. Batch screening counts one screen per name in the batch. Health checks and evidence capsule retrievals do not count against your quota.
Is KYB included in API plans?
No. KYB dossiers are purchased separately via one-time or monthly credits. API plans cover sanctions and PEP screening only. KYB dossiers for Turkey and Azerbaijan are available as single purchases, 5-packs, or monthly pilot subscriptions.
Do you support continuous monitoring?
Yes, on all plans. Watched entities are re-screened automatically when sanctions lists update, and each rescreen consumes monthly quota. Webhook notification of a change is a Growth-and-above capability.
Can compliance teams export evidence?
Yes, on all plans. Evidence Capsule export is available in CSV and JSON. Screening and canonical decision records use the current ten-year default retention policy. This describes the service implementation, not a universal legal requirement or a substitute for a customer's retention policy.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Subscriptions can be cancelled from the billing portal at any time and remain active until the end of the paid billing period. Refund requests are reviewed case by case through hello@verifex.dev.
